(More customer reviews)If you are like most of us, you do not wash and wax your car as often as you need to.You probably take your car to the drive-through, even though you know that the harsh chemicals are not good for your car's paint. As a result, the paint becomes swirled and oxidized. When this happens, you just can't go out and buy a good wax and hope that will make it all better. You need a product that will first cleanse the paint of contaminants and prepare the paint to bond with a good wax.ColorX does this.It is an all-in-one product:it cleans, it polishes, it waxes.
Massage the wax into the paint.Don't be afraid to apply a little pressure, because you want the chemicals and diminishing abrasives to do their work. Then let it dry to a haze and then buff off.You will be left with a nice wax finish.
I would recommend, though, that you top ColorX with another wax, either Meguiar's NXT or Meguiar's #26.Both will improve the shine and will give you a little better durability.ColorX/NXT or ColorX/26 make a very effective wax combo. But when applying NXT or #26 over ColorX, you need to use a different method.Apply a very thin coat. You don't need to rub it in hard. A thin, thorough coat is all that is needed.Let dry to a haze and then buff off with a microfiber towel.
Wax your car every six to eight weeks with ColorX, and your car will remain in good shape and will be the envy of all those who only take their cars to the local automat.I'm very happy with the product. It's an excellent value.
