(More customer reviews)Purchased this product to use on a 2000 Toyota Tacoma. Plastic trim and rubber suffering significant drying and fading after 9+ years in the south Florida sun. Applied the product by wiping on with a clean cloth, as stated before this will leave streaks and a "reside" of uneven shininess. However, if the product is sprayed or applied directly to the surface and massaged in until it becomes oily, it will leave a long lasting shine and deep, rich black on both even the most seriously damaged rubber and plastic parts. The key is rubbing it in until the water based carrier evaporates and the product feels like straight silicone oil, this change in the manner of application has convinced me that F-21 is the best protectant on the market. A microfiber towel is critical for buffing out the inevitible overspray from paint and glass and does an outstanding job.
